The Indian Type Foundry designed Rajdhani as a Devanagari-Latin display typeface with a technical, semi-condensed character that reflects contemporary Indian urban identity. Five weights from Light to Bold give it enough range for hierarchical design systems while maintaining the slightly mechanical energy that makes it distinctive. Its short descenders and high x-height in both scripts optimize it for interface headings, signage, and compact display contexts.
