关于 Shafarik

Shafarik by Aleksandr Andreev is a display typeface with an unusual dual heritage, supporting both Cyrillic-extended Latin characters and the Glagolitic script — the ancient Slavic alphabet that predates Cyrillic, created by Saints Cyril and Methodius in the 9th century. The design draws on early medieval manuscript aesthetics, giving letterforms a historical gravitas that makes it suited for Slavic cultural heritage projects, religious texts, and academic publications dealing with Old Church Slavonic. Its Glagolitic support makes it one of very few modern fonts to keep this foundational script typographically viable.
