Christian Thalmann's Ysabeau Infant is the rounded, softer companion to the Ysabeau family, designed with slightly open counters and gentler stroke endings inspired by infant or primer typography traditions — forms that are more legible for early readers and more approachable for informal contexts. The variable weight axis (wght) spans 11 instances across an extensive script range: Cyrillic, Cyrillic Extended, Greek, Vietnamese, mathematical symbols, and general symbols.
