About Noto Sans JP

Als Teil von Googles umfassendem Noto-Projekt bietet diese Schriftart eine vollständige Abdeckung japanischer Zeichen – Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji und Lateinisch – innerhalb eines konsistenten humanistischen Designsystems, das darauf ausgelegt ist, fehlende Zeichenboxen (sogenannte „Tofu") zu eliminieren. Mit 9 Schriftgewichten und einer variablen Gewichtachse skaliert sie wunderschön vom Fließtext bis zur Displaygröße. Kyrillische und vietnamesische Zeichen werden ebenfalls unterstützt, was nahtlose mehrsprachige Dokumente mit japanischen und europäischen Schriften ermöglicht.
