Brygada 1918 is a revival of a typeface used in the official Polish typography standards document of 1954, itself rooted in the ornate serif traditions of early 20th-century Polish print culture. Created by a team at Capitalics, the design balances historical authenticity with contemporary refinement, and supports Cyrillic, Greek, and Vietnamese scripts alongside Latin. The variable weight axis allows seamless transitions from elegant book text to assertive display headlines.
