Acerca de Climate Crisis
Created by Daniel Coull and Eino Korkala, this variable display font carries an urgent, distressed visual message through its unique YEAR axis, which morphs letterforms from stable, upright shapes (representing past climate stability) into increasingly fragmented, melting glyphs as the year value increases toward the present. The design is both typographic art and climate advocacy, making it a powerful tool for environmental campaigns and editorial work on ecological themes. No other variable font uses temporal data so literally as a design parameter.
