Acerca de Jacquard 12
Jacquard 12 by Sarah Cadigan-Fried translates the grid-based structure of Jacquard loom patterns — the precursor to binary computing — into a display typeface where each letterform is built from a visible 12-unit matrix of diamonds or squares. The result evokes both the history of programmable textile manufacture and early bitmap computer fonts, creating a uniquely layered aesthetic for technology-art crossover projects, pattern design, and retro-futuristic branding. Math and symbols support rounds out its technical character.
