Acerca de Noto Sans Old Sogdian
Noto Sans Old Sogdian covers Old Sogdian, the earliest attested form of the Sogdian script used in Central Asia from roughly the 3rd to 4th centuries CE, preserved mainly in a group of ancient letters discovered near Dunhuang. As the ancestor of both the later Sogdian script and — through Uyghur — of the Mongolian script family, Old Sogdian holds a pivotal place in the history of Eurasian writing. This font is a specialized resource for scholars of Central Asian history, the Silk Road, and the historical linguistics of Iranian languages.
