Playwrite NL follows the looped cursive model taught in Dutch primary schools, capturing the upright posture and measured rhythm that characterize Netherlands handwriting instruction. TypeTogether's Veronika Burian and José Scaglione built the variable weight axis so designers can dial in anything from a delicate thin to a fuller regular weight. The result feels personal and authentic, making it ideal for greeting cards, invitations, and brand identities that want genuine handwritten warmth without sacrificing consistency.
