Acerca de Vollkorn
Friedrich Althausen's Vollkorn — German for "whole grain" — is a sturdy, book-weight serif typeface designed with the practical demands of long-form text in mind, drawing on the traditions of German text typography to produce a face that reads densely and comfortably. Its variable weight axis and support for Cyrillic, Greek, and Vietnamese make it one of the most broadly useful open-source text serifs available. The six weight range takes it from comfortable body text up to a forceful display personality at heavier settings.
