Named after one of Cairo's ancient settlements, Fustat by Mohamed Gaber, Laura Garcia Mut, and Khaled Hosny is a contemporary Arabic sans-serif that draws on Kufic geometric traditions to deliver a modern, screen-optimized typeface. Seven weights on a variable wght axis provide a complete typographic system for Arabic-language interfaces, signage, and editorial work.
