Developed by the Indian Type Foundry, Hind is a thoughtfully constructed Devanagari-Latin typeface with five weights engineered for UI design and screen legibility. The Devanagari component was built to harmonize with the Latin through shared proportions and stroke weights rather than as an afterthought. Its strong performance in small sizes and interface contexts has made it one of the most-used Devanagari typefaces in digital product design.
Design Analysis
Hind is a Devanagari and Latin sans-serif optimized for readability at body text sizes on digital screens.
