Boutros Fonts, Arlette Boutros, and Volker Schnebel created Beiruti as a multilingual sans-serif that spans Arabic and Latin scripts in a single coherent design system — the Arabic portion is rooted in the Naskh calligraphic tradition but simplified toward a contemporary geometric clarity, while the Latin complements it with similar proportions and weight distribution.
